This is Dasher. Dasher is the strongest, bravest girl I know and the best friend I've ever had. She has been through so much in her little life with 5 surgeries removing masses and a torn ACL because she has so much spunk and energy. The 4 previous cancerous masses over the years were removed fully and successfully. Unfortunately, now we have come to a soft tissue sarcoma in a tough spot. Grade 2, which means it will come back, it will spread. I am raising funds to cover her treatment. She is a healthy girl and has so much life left in her. The ocology appoinment went well, and we have most likely decided to go with electrochemo therapy at the VCA Aurora Animal Hospital. Our appoinment is scheduled October 28th to meet Dr. Able there and hopefully start the first round. It will be 2 rounds a week apart. The estimated cost is 3,500, and we believe it will be successfull enough to allow Dash to live out her life naturally, and avoid radiation cost and effects. Anything helps.
