Dash Lopez is our 5-year-old family dog and the first dog we ever welcomed into our home. We gave Dash to our son as a gift when he was 11, and he quickly became a beloved member of our family. Dash has brought us so much joy and love, and we can’t imagine our lives without him.
Recently, Dash started having seizures, stopped eating, began urinating on himself, and cries out as if he’s in pain. We rushed him to the emergency vet after his last seizure, and they told us he needs blood work, X-rays, and several tests to find out what’s wrong. The cost for all of this is more than we can afford right now. We had to leave without getting Dash the care he needs, and every day he seems to be getting worse.
Our hope is to get Dash the treatment he needs so he can recover, or at least, if this is something temporary, to give him the help he deserves. We can’t bear to see him in pain and not be able to help him. Our goal is to take away his suffering and give him a chance at a better life. We are going through a very difficult time right now. Dash means everything to us—he is part of our family, and seeing him suffer is something we can’t put into words. If you can help in any way, even the smallest donation, it would mean so much to us and could make a real difference in his life. And if you’re not able to donate, simply sharing our story would help us more than you know. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for keeping Dash in your thoughts and prayers. We truly appreciate every bit of support.
