Hey! My name is Daryna, and I am from Ukraine originally. I moved to the states when I was 6 and I still have a lot of family left back home. While most of them are scared but okay, and although I haven’t personally heard from them in a month now, I recently found out my dad and stepmom’s house has been destroyed to the point they are now living with neighbors, and are pretty much homeless. The only messages I have gotten from them since the beginning is that they’re alive and no more information. They spent all the money they had when the war broke out to stock up on supplies for themselves and their dogs, and they are only able to eat right now thanks to the wonderful volunteers. Life has been beyond rough for them. I want to raise some money to help them rebuild their home, and their lives once the war is over. They are wonderful, selfless people and they help anyone when they get the chance, and I’m trying to do anything in my power to show them the world can help them as well. Any tiny bit you can spare is a huge help, and if you can’t that’s okay too, but a share would mean the world to us!! This has been the most stressful experience in any of our lives, and knowing they have something to fall back on once this is over would be a giant relief.
