Please help Daryn Receive Scoliosis Treatment and Surgery

Daryn is an energetic 7-year-old living her best small-town life. She is in the 1st grade and loves Math and Music classes. Her favorite color is pink, and her favorite animal is the cow. In November 2023 she received the devastating news that her back wasn’t like most and that she would require multiple surgeries and back bracing.

Daryn will undergo her first back surgery on January 18th, 2024, at Children’s Hospital in St Louis. This surgery will be followed up with a supportive back brace and multiple adjustments to her Magec Grow Rod every four months. Daryn will undergo a minimum of 3 major surgeries before she can receive a final fusion surgery at around the age of 12.

Daryn’s spine has two curvatures one measuring at 59 degrees and another at 50 degrees, because of the severity of the curvature surgery is needed as soon as possible to start correcting her spine. This news was absolutely devastating to hear and to learn that any degree curve of over 50 percent is considered severe, in Daryn’s case surgery is our only feasible option for correction.

We are raising money for her on going testing, surgeries, and a new supportive bed for her room. Your fundraising dollars will allow Daryn’s Mom and Dad the ability to pay for the endless insurance copayments/overages, and travel two and from hospital.
