Hi, you all know my husband Daryl. He is always coming up with ideas to help everyone and to help cut corners and make things economical with everything he does. He is always making cool things with his ideas he comes up with. If you ever go out to eat with him, you learn fast he is very simple, just a burger man; don't take him to fancy places. He is a truck driver and he loves the road freedom to see the world. If he ever shared any of his amazing pictures with you from the road trips and nature, I am sure you are saying oh yeah right now.

He had a seizure that took everything away he knew in life. We thought it was a heart attack and then the walls came crumbling down. They found a tumor the size of a golf ball in his brain and he had to have surgery. They also found spots in his lungs, but one thing at a time they said. So, he had the tumor removed and the left side of his body is not functioning. He is doing OT & PT to recover movement and function. They came back with stage 4 cancer. Now they have the pathology; it came from the lungs. It's Pleomorphic Lung Cancer stage 4 and he has to start chemo. But with the brain, he had to do 3 treatments of radiation but still has a blood clot in the brain. This is so much and so overwhelming dealing with 3 different illnesses/diagnoses and therapy and all these appointments and running around asking questions and not knowing or understanding. Most of all, the financial burden and not having the income or knowing what the future outcome will be is just so much. He can't work and has no coverage and when I went to social security, they said it can take 6 to 8 months before we hear back. By then things will be nuts that's fine, but we can't cover all the insurance ,treatment ,medications and therapy to keep going and I am doing all I can. The power of prayer is the most important thing in the world. Please send prayers for my family. God is in control. Amen.
