We’ve all heard the phrase, “Life can change in the blink of an eye!” For Daryl and her husband Patrick, sadly they’ve experienced it firsthand. On March 6th our dear friend Daryl was diagnosed with Stage 4 Rectal Cancer. The cancer has spread into her liver and lymph nodes and will require immediate aggressive treatment. This crushing diagnosis has been a hard blow to all of us that love her.

Daryl is the kind of person many of us wish we could be. She is a devoted wife and mother of two beautiful girls, Madeline and Elizabeth. She is the epitome of love, compassion and generosity. Even though she faces a difficult road ahead of her she continues to smile, crack jokes and keep us laughing. She radiates love, positivity and unwavering optimism. Daryl is always the first to offer assistance to any friend in need. Whether it be a shoulder to cry on, lending a helping hand, or simply be an empathetic listener, she always seems to know exactly the right thing to do and say.

But right now, she needs us! Now is our chance to help Daryl and her family as she fights for her life. We’re asking for your love, friendship, prayers, good juju and an abundance of positive thoughts and healing energy. She’s going to need all of it!  We also humbly ask you to consider supporting Daryl and Patrick financially. Not only does a cancer diagnosis carry tremendous weight emotionally, but financially as well. Our hope is that easing the financial burden will help Daryl and Patrick devote their sole energy on their family and beating cancer!
