Darwin is my loving and kind dog who has always been there for me and everyone he meets. He has a special way of sensing when someone is sad and brings comfort just by being himself. Recently, Darwin was hit by a car and suffered a fractured pelvis in two places, a dislocated hip, and a broken femur. His sister Jane witnessed the accident and, heartbreakingly, she can't see him right now—so she doesn't know he's alive and is currently mourning his loss. Right now, Darwin is in rough shape and needs urgent surgery to have a chance at a pain-free life.

The funds raised will go directly toward covering Darwin’s surgery, which is critical for his recovery. Without it, his life would be exponentially more painful. The support will also help pay for pain medication and items to improve his comfort and mental well-being, like toys, a better dog bed, and things to help him move around more easily as he heals. Every bit will make a real difference in his quality of life.
