Help Darryl! &Princess payoff remaining legal debt

I'm a father who has incurred tremendous amount of legal bills to adopt daughter I have been rearing for over 3 years. All I wanted to do was to offer love and support to a child who has become my daughter, to protect her from the issues and conditions she was in and to give her a loving and safe home; in the end I am the only parent she knows and has known for the majority of her life. Loving her has been easy and a blessing; keeping her has been a legal battle that is overwhelming financially.
Short version of a very long and sorted multi year ordeal. You may know that I started the process of caring for and adopting my daughter about three years ago. Princess just turned 4 and she has lived with me since age 1. Shortly before Princess turned 1, I was approached and introduced to her with her mother who asked me to adopt her and give her a good home. I prayed and talked about it to my family and friend circles. I then agreed and she began living with me right after she turned 1 and she has been with me ever since.
What started as an easy process soon turned into a contested situation and ultimately a protracted legal case. The ironic thing is everyone else got lawyers FREE, except me. The father who was absent and never showed up; the mother who gave her up, abandoned her, then wanted to use her for financial gain, even the baby got her own lawyer (thankfully); everyone, except me. I was the person fighting to give continue to love, care, and provide for my princess with no support from the state or anyone. This means $$$thousads in legal fees. My attorney is great but NOT FREE. So, in this moment I have had to swallow my pride and do the unthinkable. Appeal to you for help. The lawyer fees are overwhelming and while the adoption is being granted the final decree will come in March, my lawyer still has to be paid. Oh, and there is a chance of an appeal that will be extremely costly in court too which would still all fall to me. My lawyer will not continue the case (on appeal) if she is not paid and the case has dragged on so long that the bill is staggering.
I am asking for any help you can give to help me secure my family and emerge out of this very long ordeal without legal debt. So the funds are needed immediately and they will be used to cover the costs of legal fees. The support would mean a great deal to me. The support you give will help to alleviate the stress and strain that the legal fees are causing especially during this time. Princess has been able to go to school, take gymnastics and ballet, and have the best environment to develop and become all that God intends for her. Your help will allow me to get out from under the financial stress of legal fees and continue to give her the best home possible without compromise.
I will be forever grateful for your support and pledge to be the best parent I can be to her and to always surround her with the love that you, our family and community , have shown to us AND make sure she always knows what you did to help her daddy take the best care of her.
