My son Darryl Jr., age 23, has always dreamed of serving his community as a firefighter and EMT. That dream is finally becoming reality as he begins his journey in training school.

As his dad, I can say with confidence that Darryl is one of the most hardworking, humble, and caring young men you’ll ever meet. He’s a man of strong faith, quiet determination, and a heart that always puts others first.

From a young age, Darryl has always wanted to help people. He’s worked tirelessly to build his life, paying for his own car, his own apartment, and now his education. He’s done it all with integrity, grit, and purpose.
