Help Darryl Bring Supplies to Asheville

Hi, I'm Darryl Jones, resident of North Carolina (Chapel Hill). I am not in Western NC, but I have friends and family in Western NC who are currently impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Our first $2000 of this fundraiser has been distributed to local groups who are on the ground helping community members. The next phase of this fundraiser is for PPE for those who are literally shoveling out "toxic sludge" of contaminated river sediment from damaged homes and businesses.

We are buying supplies here in Chapel Hill, and having them transported to crews in need. We are working with Fitch Lumber in Carrboro and RUMAH (Raleigh United Mutual Aid Hub) to coordinate.
