My father has always been the kind of person who steps up when others are in need. Whether it was letting someone stay at his house during tough times or sharing what little he had, he’s been a source of support and kindness for so many people in our community. Now, he’s facing one of the hardest challenges of his life, and I’m reaching out for help on his behalf.

Recently, my dad developed diabetic neuropathy, which led to a broken foot. Unfortunately, the injury became much more serious when a bone infection set in, and now doctors have made the difficult decision to amputate his foot. This has been a devastating turn for him, both physically and emotionally, and he has a long road to recovery ahead.

The funds raised here will go directly toward helping my dad rebuild his life. He’ll need medical equipment and prosthetics to regain his independence, and support to care for his beloved cat, who has been his companion through all of this. He’ll also need help finding a safe place to live once he’s discharged from the hospital.
