For Darrin Srda

Darrin Srda is a beloved member of the Na'alehu and Ka'u community, and right now Darrin needs all of us. Hurricane Lala completely destroyed Darrin's home and property, leaving Darrin with an overwhelming loss and urgent day-to-day needs. While federal, state, and county aid has still not reached Na'alehu, this community cannot afford to wait. For more than six years, Darrin has quietly given so much to the people around him, pouring heart, soul, and hard work into helping feed and care for neighbors without ever asking for anything in return.

Many in Ka'u know Darrin as the humble person who has shared garden-fresh vegetables, homemade baked goods, canned goods, and nourishing meals with the community. Now it is Darrin's turn to be lifted up. Donations will go directly to Darrin to help with food, temporary shelter, and the long, massive rebuilding process ahead. Please give what you can, and if you are unable to donate, please share this fundraiser with others. Every act of support helps honor a man who has given so much to this community. Together, we can help Darrin recover and help keep Darrin in Ka'u.
