Hello, my name is Zach Gaither. I am creating this Go Fund me account to help my brother-in-law, Darren Parker. Darren was involved in a very serious accident on September 22nd, 2025. Darren was riding his motorcycle home to grab his car to go to work, when someone turned in front of him making Darren slam violently into the vehicle. He had to be airlifted to SLU where he had to endure a 7 hour surgery to save his life. Darren had a brain bleed, several skull fractures, and when he made contact with the vehicle, it punctured his lung, and because of this he had to have 2/3 of his right lung removed. The doctors said he was fractions of an inch away from death. Because of this accident, Darren is still currently hospitalized. Darren has a young family, including his son Beau and his wife Sonni. Darren was the main provider for his household. It is my hope that this go fund me will help lessen the burden of increasing medical bills, along with being able to pay his everyday bills since he’s been out of work since the accident, and will remain out of work for the foreseeable future.
