Early in the morning of Saturday, Dec 18th Darren’s Work Van was stolen out of thedrive way on Idlewood and 82nd St in the Eastmont Neighborhood of Oakland, CA where he lives. Everything that Darren owned for his plumbing business was in that Van. The insurance company only wants to cover $200 of the personal property and after the deductible the insurance company only wants to pay out maybe $1000-$1500. That’s to replace the work van and all the plumbing tools he had which were in excess of $12,000 to $15,000. Without a Van and tools he’s not able to work or provide for his family. He’s been able to use his girlfriends truck and borrow some tools from his amazing friends to get some basic house calls done to get some money in.
