Darren was in a horrible accident on March 21st 2017. His travel trailer caught fire/exploded and he was caught in the middle. We are unaware if the exact cause of the accident but know that a neighbor was able to throw a blanket over him to save his life. He has 75.5% of his body with 2nd and 3rd degree burns. He is fighting for his life every day but is fighting the fight of his life. He was life flighted to UC Davis Burn Center where he is undergoing numerous life saving surgeries, skin grafts, and round the clock treatments.
We are asking for any help financially to take care of his truck payment and other bills that he just cannot pay right now. We hope to be able to save at least his truck as it is all he has left after the fire. He will be unable to work and disabled for quite a few months or more. We are all praying for a full recovery and know he has a long road ahead of him. Continued prayers from family, friends and anyone who is able would be greatly appreciated. We have attached a photo of his trailer, however at this time we cannot attach a personal photo of him in his hospital bed as a courtesy to him and until he is able to give his approval. We will keep you updated.
