On Tuesday evening 06-18-24, my parents Darren and Amber Strough were riding their motorcycle in front of myself and other family members in a vehicle behind them on our way home from a 10 hour road trip to a family reunion. About 12 minutes away from home, a deer on the highway came out of nowhere and tackled my parents off of their motorcycle and sent them rolling into the ditch. My parents were stabilized and survived due to medical training of myself and family members in the car following them. They were then life flighted to Boulder County Hospital where they suffered severe brain injuries, and underwent several surgeries.

It is with the heaviest heart that I update everyone that my dad Darren passed on 6-25 as this fight was too much for his body to handle.
