On June 25th my mom’s world was undone with a tragic house fire. Anyone who knows Darlene Donaldson will tell you she is the kindest, most loving and generous person. I flew up late last night to see what I can do to help and if we can find anything that can be saved. Worse than all the physical items though is her beloved dog, Duke who did not make it out. She had to be held back from running into the burning house to try and save him.

While nothing can replace Duke and all the memories, I’m hoping to get her some financial help to at least ease that burden. I know she will not ask for help and I’m going to try and keep her from seeing this, but I want to do everything I can to try and help her.
