Help Darlene Rebuild After the Fire
Donation protected
Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
We are Angela & Alicia Demo and we are raising funds for our beloved mother, Darlene, who has lost everything to the Eaton Canyon fire. This sudden and devastating tragedy has left her without a home or belongings, and we’re reaching out for your help as she starts from scratch.
About Darlene
Our mom, Darlene is a beacon of selflessness and love. Six years ago, newly divorced, she mustered up the courage to leave her small Massachusetts hometown to retire on the west coast. Closer to her daughters and grandson, Sydney, she created a new life in Altadena. She found joy in her new, exciting chapter, surrounded by a close-knit community and friendships she cherished deeply. Nothing gave her more joy than volunteering at her community food pantry and meeting friends later in the day to play Bridge.
An Unimaginable Loss
In just a few ruthless hours, her world was reduced to ashes—her home, her keepsakes, and everything she worked so hard to rebuild had vanished. Now, she faces the daunting challenge of securing a new place to live and replacing life’s essentials.
How You Can Help
Though she is hesitant to ask for assistance with so many in need, we are raising funds to help Darlene find housing and rebuild her life from the ground up. No donation is too small—every contribution makes a difference and shows her she’s not alone on this journey.
Our family is eternally grateful for your prayers, support, and love as we navigate this difficult chapter. We are holding our entire community, and all those affected by these fires, in our thoughts. Thank you for your generosity and compassion during this heartbreaking time. Together, we can help our mom find stability and hope again.
With heartfelt gratitude,
