Help Darlene on her Cancer Journey

Hello folks;

We write to you today to tell you the story of a wonderful lady, Darlene Poirier. Darlene Poirier lives in Cheticamp with her Husband, Michael and is battling cancer for her fourth time at the young age of 62! She was first diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2007. Then in 2014 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Darlene worked as a CCA at the local Foyer Père Fiset where she loved her job very much but had to leave as it was too hard for her. In June of 2020, Darlene got the news that she had cancer again for the third time; this time it was located in one of her lungs. A successful surgery happened in December of 2020. Darlene and Michael travel to Ontario for work but in may of 2021, she had to return home and could not continue to work as more tests revealed that she now has cancer in the second lung. Darlene is a fighter and we can help make this fight a little easier by helping her throughout this battle. The funds raised will help with costs associated with battling cancer as the doctors map out their course of action to win this battle.
