I am Chris’s wife Darla Zeller. All of you who knew him understand what a special person he was and he died very unexpectedly. One night he feel good enough to eat Pizza and in the middle of the night he started struggling to breathe, I called 911… he was in the hospital for 3 weeks on a ventilator with a very severe strength of COVID, however they took him off the ventilator and the day before he passed away, I was there for 3 hours and we had a great visit, listening to classic rock and fooling around, I snuck in Ice chips for him and that made me the best wife ever! We were always partners in crime! He got to talk to his Richard Zeller & daughter Loni Wise and grandchildren's Morgan and Conner ( his namesake) they called me at 3am and I didn't hear the phone, so they called my daughter and by the time I called the hospital he was gone . They said he passed peacefully and was in no pain… his heart just gave out. For those of you that he called friend consider yourself lucky because he didn’t have many of them! We weren’t prepared for him to go, so getting j through this time financially is really tough. Any help you can give me would be gratefully appreciated.
