Help Darla with expenses and loss of income.

Hi, my name is Stacey Payne, and I have started fundraising for the MOST deserving, selfless friend of mine, Darla Link. She was ill for months and had been going to Dr. appts. with no answers, and no relief. Darla's kidney Dr. took the time to research and she recently was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma Cancer. What a shock! She has been traveling over 100 miles daily for aggressive treatments, and has been out of work with no pay. She is very ill. Darla is the person who has always been the helper! She has helped friends financially, emotionally, and has baked for a number of people and events! She is the first to donate to others.

I have worked with Darla for 25 years. We started together clueless at the prison on January 3, 1997. She started work at CCF as a single parent with 2 young daughters. Through the years she has worked so much overtime, as well as held 2 to three other jobs. She took care of her family and friends.. She never put herself first.. ever!

Darla would NEVER ask for help, but I am asking for her. It is time for us to step up and help with her travel expenses, groceries, and lost wages. Please consider donating. This is the beginning of her fight! If she can get a bone marrow transplant, that would be amazing. She is scheduled for a Pet scan later this month. Darla is only 60 years old, and suffers from diabetes and kidney failure along with her recent diagnosis. She can use positive thoughts and prayers right now!
