My name is DARLA, and I am reaching out for help during the most difficult time of my life. For one year, I lived alone in my car, unable to walk due to being totally crippled, and need surgery on hip and knees from a bad fall. I have no family left to help me, and my health has declined rapidly. I had suffered a stroke, and undergone heart surgery. I need to raise money to stay in a safe place to live so that I can have my surgeries to walk again. I still have two storage units full that I'm paying for each month and if I raise this money I can pay someone to help me empty them so I can use that money to pay rent.

A safe place to live would change everything for me. With a rental, I could finally have the surgeries I need, access medical care, and work remotely from home to support myself. It would give me the chance to regain my independence and live with dignity. Right now, I am alone and vulnerable, and I am asking for your kindness and support to help me through this incredibly hard time.
