Help Darius & his parents win the battle with Cancer!!

Hi, my name is Andreea and I’m fundraising for a family close to my heart, who is struggling financially with the battle against cancer.

Darius, their son has been diagnosed with cancer at age 5 and since then he has had numerous treatments and a difficult childhood.

Recently he’s been diagnosed with brain cancer. He has been hospitalised since February at Bristol Hospital for Children and his mum is with him, day and night, leaving at home, in Milton Keynes her husband and 4 years old daughter, whom she hasn’t seen since February.

Darius had a stem cell transplant and he is still recovering in hospital. he can’t go home for at least a couple of months; this puts an immense financial pressure on mum and dad, as they cannot work and rely only on universal credit. Mum is in hospital with Darius and dad is running the household and looks after their daughter.

They have fallen behind with their rental payments and bills, and struggle to make ends meet.

therefore, I am setting up this fundraiser with hope and faith that we can all come together and support them through these challenging times.

we cannot give Darius health, but we can pray for him and give up a coffee, or two, to help his parents put food on the table, and cover their bills, until they can return back to work.
