Hello everyone I was hoping I would never have to come back to this go fund me page but here we Are . And as some of you may know Darien was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the end of March 2021 Darien had two surgeries in 2021 the doctors felt those two surgeries would have cured him. He had his updated scan done January 3, 2022. The Scan came back that it has metastasized to some Lymph nodes in the pelvis region. With that being said Darien needs further treatment. That entails chemotherapy. He Saw his oncologist yesterday January 24. The doctor informed us he will have nine weeks total of chemotherapy and it will take about three months to complete if everything goes as planned with no setbacks. The projected date to start Chemo is February 8th. The oncologist does not want Darien to work during that time since he does work in a hospital and the risk of infection is high and his immune system is low and they do not want to take chances of him catching anything serious to have a setback. With that being said he will have to apply for short term disability . We all know that that takes time to set up and pray that it is approved. In the meantime he needs a way to help raise his daughter, Pay his Bills and pay for his college. He will also have medical expenses. Copays For Dr visits  With specialists that are$70.00 every time he walks through the door,Prescription copays.And medical bills .He is currently paying on his medical bills from his past surgeries from his cancer. We both have a lot of pride and it takes a lot for me to ask for help. Darien and I are both very independent people and it literally hurts my heart to ask for help but I know my son will need it. And I don’t want him to worry about bills while he’s getting his treatment I just want him to focus on getting well. So if anyone can help I’d greatly appreciate it the amount don’t matter every  penny will count I am also going to be starting a fundraiser selling testicular cancer awareness bracelets.
