Hi everyone,

My name is Dariana Thomas, and I'm reaching out for help to continue my college education. I am a rising sophomore at the illustrious Clark Atlanta University who has had the dreams of graduating from here since 8th grade and have completed my freshman year majoring in Biology. I'm a highly motivated student with a strong desire to be a first-generation college graduate. I've always been on the honor roll, and I was so proud to make the Dean's List both semesters of my freshman year! Unfortunately, I'm facing significant financial challenges that threaten my ability to stay in school. I’ve applied to many scholarships and have been fortunate enough to earn $7,500 worth but still not enough to cover the rest of my tuition. My mom is a single parent, working hard at 2 jobs to support my sister and me with no other financial support. I'm working as an STNA, but my earnings aren't nearly enough to cover my tuition costs. I'm determined to get my degree and build a better future for myself and my family. Education is incredibly important to me, and I believe it's the key to unlocking opportunities and making a positive impact on the world. I would hate to leave the strong community that I have already became apart of. No help is too little and thank you in advance!
