In June of 2025, my life changed dramatically. I underwent two eye procedures, and as a result, I lost vision in my left eye and now have limited vision in my right. This sudden change has been overwhelming, and it led to me losing my job and, soon, my health insurance. Over the past seven months, I have used up all my savings and maxed out my credit cards just trying to keep up with medical bills, travel expenses to and from doctors, and the everyday costs of living.

I am the sole caretaker for my family. My 15-year-old daughter, Kennedy, has severe asthma, and we are constantly traveling to specialists and the hospital for her care. Her medications are expensive, and I also care for my elderly mother and our pets. The weight of these responsibilities, combined with my own health challenges, has made this time incredibly difficult for all of us.

The funds I raise here will go directly toward medical bills, daily living expenses, paying down the debt I’ve accumulated, and helping me secure new insurance.
