On Saturday, August 16th, 2025, a powerful storm tore through Mount Prospect, leaving behind severe damage

- including the partial destruction of an apartment building that our close friends Darek and Ewa called home. The storm was so intense, it ripped the roof off part of the building, making their home unlivable.

Darek and Ewa have lost not only their shelter, but also personal belongings and the sense of security that comes with having a safe place to stay. They are now scrambling to find temporary housing, essentials, and begin the long process of recovery.

We're asking for your help. Every dollar raised will go directly to Darek and Ewa to cover emergency housing, food, clothing, and other urgent needs as they work to rebuild their lives.

Even if you're not in a position to donate, sharing this campaign can make a huge difference.

Let's come together and show them they're not alone.

Thank you so much for your support.
