Darcy Kaye Jolly was born on 2-18-25 with a VSD and a Pleural Effusion with fluid around her lungs. She was placed in the NICU immediately after birth and was then transferred to Dell Children's Cardiac Care Unit where we currently are now. We are taking things day by day as we await testing results to come, but our little one has a long road to recovery coming up. She is going to need surgery to correct the heart defects and will need some cosmetic surgeries in the future to correct some webbing between her 2nd and 3rd toes on her left foot and the middle and ring fingers on her right hand caused by Syndactyly. Ariel is going to be spending a lot of time here at the hospital with Darcy, and I will be bouncing between the hospital and home to help out with our kids and the dogs. Thankfully, we have an amazing support system of friends and family who are rallying behind our baby girl.
We are going to be raising funds to cover the deductible cost and some of the expenses with the hospital stay and the recovery process until we can get Darcy home. Anything we can raise will be tremendously appreciated and go towards ensuring our sweet baby girl is ready to lead a happy and healthy life.
