Help Darcy Complete NY Studio School Program

Please help me achieve my pre-pandemic goal of completing this in-person New York Studio School Drawing Program by supporting tuition costs, supplies and living expenses while enrolled.
In the winter of 2019/2020 I was in the throes of living my best life: location managing a Sundance picture, working in the sculpture studio of a respected international artist ---and I'd recently taken a leap of faith and attempted to enroll in a highly respected drawing intensive with The New York Studio School. As we all know - come March of 2020 all of these things imploded with the onset of the pandemic and I moved from New York to Pennsylvania to be closer to my family.
During that time my life (as did the lives of many) took parallel courses of both catastrophe and self discovery - however the one thing that was a constant was my continued pursuit of art both as a tangible skill and as a means of exploration and inquiry. I completed several solo shows and residencies and continued with discipline to maintain a daily practice at all costs - despite some extremely difficult personal circumstances including loss of income due to the collapse of the film industry, a housing battle that included the damage and loss of tens of thousands of dollars of artwork, technical equipment and personal items, and the death and loss of friends and family members.
This year I became determined to emerge from the difficult season that the Covid era had imposed by attempting to re-enroll in the Studio School program - uncertain whether or not I'd be re-accepted - or if I would have the means to actually pursue the program. However - I am overjoyed to report that I was accepted for the in-person intensive beginning September, 3rd - however the $1,800 cost of tuition and additional supplies and living expenses remain out of reach - in fact I almost did not follow through with my attempt to enroll - until a close friend and fellow artist adamantly demand that I push ahead in order to honor my hard work and desire to continue my education as an artist in spite of the last five years of epic shifts. Truly the two things that have allowed me to keep moving were remarkable friends and relationships - and ---my art.
I realize that the turn around for this is less than a week - but as I said - I almost buckled at the gravity of the cost - but I realized that completing a program like this is a personal win that has been very hard fought - and certainly not without the support and kindness of so many friends and those close to me.
Any contribution that one chooses to make is much appreciated and I will be sending out small works in thanks for contributions over $25
I have 5 large works on paper (over 36"x48" ) for those wishing to make direct purchases of work to support this cause those works are set aside for contributions of $300 or more. Additionally those who wish can make contributions directly to me via PayPal or other app - if you want to avoid fees. However those who wish to write off a charitable contribution may choose to do so via this site.
Thank you to all - know that your support means the world to me if you have any questions please feel free to reach out directly. These funds are all being used for direct tuition costs, the expense of supplies that are professional and archival and to support basic cost of living expenses such as food - transportation and - things like purchase of my prescriptions out of pocket while being out of Pennsylvania.
much love
