Hi, my name is Darby Deming, and I’m an elite-level cyclist preparing to race at the 2025 USA Cycling Elite Track Championships . After months of training, sacrifice, and competition, I’ve earned the opportunity to compete among the top riders in the country.

My journey with cycling began 10 years ago when I took up my long term job of being a mail courier in Downtown, Houston. This job introduced me to one of the things I love most, which is cycling.

Within in the last 3 years, I have proudly earned 9 medals, 4 gold, at various State Championships. I was also named 2024 Rider of the Year at the Alkek Velodrome.

Now, I’m taking the next step—and I need your support to get there.

Traveling to nationals comes with expenses, including:

    •    Travel/lodging

    •    Race entry fees

    •    Equipment

    •    Nutrition and recovery support

As a full-time athlete and courier, every bit of help goes a long way. Whether it’s a monetary contribution or by simply sharing this campaign will take me one step closer to my dream of competing among the top riders in the US.

I’d like to express my gratitude for my long-time friend, Dominic, for his continued support of my vision and dream. He has made multiple contributions to my racing gear during high level competitions and has also pledged to donate a front wheel as well as drivetrain components for this event.

Understanding the financial barriers that one can encounter as a competing cyclist, ten percent of the contributions earned through these donations will be set aside for two of my fellow cyclists who I admire.
