I think most anyone reading this knows me personally, but just in case -

My name is Darah, I’m mom to an amazing 5 year old named Lucy May. Lucy has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy, this means she is high risk (Covid). Because of her being high risk (no school or daycare) my work availability is pretty limited. In July I was able to find a job that works with this weird pandemic schedule, which is a godsend! Because of all this I don’t make very much money (I work when Lu is at her dad’s), but we have managed to get by. This is all temporary and I know things will get a lot better next year.

My landlords informed me a couple weeks ago that they are selling the house my apartment is in- we have to move. Soon. I make around $950 a month and do not have any kind of savings. I’m at a complete loss here, I quite frankly have no idea what I’m going to do. So I’m reaching out for help.

Anything donated will go toward:

First and last month’s rent, deposit, pet deposit (two cats), a moving truck, and moving help. I will be looking for another one bedroom apartment and prices range from around 600 to 700 a month. I’ve made my goal 3k, but anything at all helps tremendously. My landlords told me last week they think they already have a buyer for the house.
