Help Support Grace’s Family After Her Sudden Passing
Donation protected
On March 27th, we lost our amazing Grace at just 20 years of age. Her life was full of battles from the very beginning. She was diagnosed with infantile spasms at two months old, followed by medulloblastoma—a form of brain cancer—at age two. She endured surgery and chemotherapy, only to face a recurrence at age five that required more treatment and brain surgeries. At seven, she suffered a stroke and several transient ischemic attacks (TIAs), and later underwent bilateral cranial bypass surgeries to improve blood flow to her brain. She also bravely navigated uveal melanoma—an eye tumor—and lived with a benign brain tumor that eventually returned and was being monitored.
Through it all, Grace carried physical challenges and developmental disabilities, but she never let any of it hold her back. For the last four years, she was the most stable we had ever seen. She graduated high school, was getting stronger, going to concerts and dance nights, laughing with friends, and living with so much joy. She was about to turn 21 and was looking forward to more music, more dancing, and more chances to connect with people she loved.
Then, without warning, Grace suffered a brain aneurysm that led to a catastrophic stroke. After a week of unimaginable uncertainty and heartbreak, doctors confirmed that the damage to her already compromised brain was irreversible. Recovery was no longer possible—she would not be able to breathe on her own, communicate, or experience the joy and connection that defined her life. Surrounded by love, her family made the agonizing decision to let her go peacefully.
This GoFundMe was created to help ease the financial burden on Grace’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Funds will go toward the many unexpected expenses that come with such a sudden loss.
We welcome any form of support for Gracie’s family—whether that’s a donation, a shared memory, or a photo that captures her spirit. You’re invited to send notes, pictures, and remembrances via the "contact" button below, that Dara, Scott, and Ce can cherish as they remember her.
A message from our family:
“Never take your time with your loved ones for granted. Enjoy every minute. Hug your loved ones tighter.”
Thank you for keeping Grace and her family in your heart.
