My name is Dar Govindan, and I recently moved from Richmond, Virginia to Barcelona, Spain, and I am a pianist. I recently performed at Avery Point by Erickson Senior Living in Richmond, and Caley Ridge Assisted Living in Denver.

During my move, I had to sell my grand piano because the cost to move it would have been prohibitively expensive. Now that I am about to move into a new apartment after living in temporary housing, I hope to purchase a Kawai Upright Piano, with a built-in 'silent system.'

The silent system is designed to allow people living in apartments or other shared housing to play their piano at any hour of the day, as it retracts the piano’s hammers, making it inaudible to anybody except the player wearing headphones.

I would greatly appreciate anybody that can help me fund my purchase of this instrument, as the school year starts in September, and I would love to begin practicing on the new piano around that time.

Thank you!!
