Help Daphne the Hottie Rottie FIGHT Cancer!
Donation protected
Life recently gave us a lemon...so we're gonna make some cancer butt-kicking lemonade!
Our sweet pup Daphne, a Rottweiler I adopted from a shelter 9 years ago, has just been diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. Daphne's oncologist is recommending chemotherapy, which has an 85% success rate of remission in dogs and could extend her life with at least 1-2 years of *quality* living (which is 10% of her whole doggie life span, like 7 to 10 human years). Time is of the essence, as it's rapidly progressing and quite aggressive especially in dogs. We're gonna fight for her and get her the treatment!
But ... we need your help. I am unfortunately all tapped out financially, after nearly two years of dealing with my own major health issues. I have end stage renal disease (kidney failure) and currently on dialysis ... and all this came on top of almost losing my arm due to life-threatening infection (totalling in 7 surgeries + 4 weeks in hospital).
Daphne was a HUGE support in my physical and mental health recovery. She never left my side. Always snuggling with me when I was immobilized in bed. Her head in my lap the second I started crying from all the pain. During my darkest days, she was the #1 reason I chose to wake up, to LIVE another day, to push through and not give up. I would not be here today, alive and healing, without her. Now, it's her turn to get the medical support she deserves.
Those of you who know her, or have met her, know how loving, goofy and sweet she is. She brings us so much JOY. We think she is worth fighting this damn disease for. We hope you do too. Thank you for reading her story and our plea for help. All donations will go to paying for her 8-week chemotherapy course and necessary medications. With your help, we can BEAT THIS DOGGIE CANCER!
With love and gratitude,
Daphne + Patrick (her Daddy Paddy) + me (Isul)
