Daphne has been my loyal companion for eight years, ever since I adopted her as a college junior. She’s been by my side through every major moment and challenge, always ready with a wagging tail and a comforting presence. Daphne is my best friend and the heart of my world. Her favorite thing is swimming, and I cherish every memory of watching her run and play, full of joy and energy.

Recently, Daphne developed a persistent limp that didn’t improve with medication. After several tests and x-rays, we received the heartbreaking news that she has early-stage bone cancer in her left humeral bone. The recommended treatment is amputation, followed by multiple rounds of chemotherapy to give her the best chance at recovery. Right now, Daphne is on strict rest, unable to enjoy our favorite activities like hiking, swimming, or trail rides with my horse. Despite everything, she remains a happy and resilient girl, facing each day with courage.

Daphne has always been there for me, especially during tough times. Now, I want to be there for her. The funds raised will go directly toward her surgery, post-op care, and ongoing chemotherapy.
