My name is Gwevera, and I am a trans woman living in Washington State. For a long time, I have struggled with the effects of schizophrenia and have faced both social and systemic neglect. Without insurance or family support, I have found it nearly impossible to access the psychiatric care and clinical diagnosis I need. The systems in place often feel like a brick wall for anyone who cannot afford to pay, and this has left me feeling isolated and without options.
Receiving a clinical diagnosis and proper care would be life-changing for me. It would allow me to access social security systems and resources that could provide protection and support. With the right help, I could begin to improve my daily life and find hope for the future. I am determined to overcome these barriers, but I cannot do it alone.
I am reaching out to this community for help because I believe in the power of collective support. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a real difference in my life. Thank you for your kindness, understanding, and for standing with me as I work toward a better future.
