Help Dante Walk Again: Surgery Fund

Our hearts ache as we share that our beloved rescue cat, Dante, just two years young and a cherished member of our family, is facing a significant health challenge. He is struggling with a painful genetic condition affecting his mobility: dual patellar subluxation, where his kneecaps don't stay in place, and a dislocated hip joint (femoral head luxation). It breaks our hearts to see our usually playful Dante in pain and discomfort. He came to us as a rescue, and from the moment he stepped through our door, he filled our home with an immeasurable amount of love. The thought of him not being his happy, active self is unbearable.

Fortunately, our veterinarian believes that surgery to correct the dislocation of his left kneecap, the most pressing issue, offers Dante an excellent chance to regain his full mobility and live a pain-free life. At just two years old, he deserves to run, jump, and explore without limitations, and to chase his favorite toys. This surgery represents a pathway back to the happy, bouncy cat we know and love.
