Help Dante pay for college

My story isn’t unique. Common actually. May even be the norm. Hi, my name is Dante. I’m a black transmasculine artist looking to go to school for a higher education. My family can’t afford to help me through college (California State University, Fullerton). I have a minimum wage job that isn’t nearly enough to pay my fees. Federal Student Aid gave me the smallest loan possible. Despite this, my family isn’t rich. I need to pay $4k in September and another $4k in October. My parents don’t have that money on standby and there’s no way I could make that money at my job quickly enough.

I know I’m another drop in the bucket of millions who went through this exact same scenario but I don’t know what else to do. I have to go to school. I want to pursue my dream career of being a professional artist. I want to get out of my house. I’m trans and despite my parents attempted financial support, they don’t support me in that way. Frankly, I’m in a really bad spot. I have to try this, it’s worth a shot.
