Dante means the absolute world to us. We first found him as a starving kitten, and from that moment, he became part of our family. We’ve all watched him grow from that tiny, hungry kitten into the sweet, loving cat he is today. Dante is truly everyone’s best friend, and our home wouldn’t be the same without him.

Recently, Dante was hit by a car and suffered serious injuries. He’s now very weak and has been admitted to the emergency room, where the vets are keeping a close eye on him until they see improvements. It’s heartbreaking to see him like this. He hasn’t been eating, and he can’t keep his mouth shut because his front canine was knocked out. He also has a large laceration that runs from the front of his tongue almost to the back, a swollen jaw, and deep open wounds on his face. His eyes are bleeding due to a bruised sclera, and he’s in a lot of pain.

Dante’s 8th birthday is coming up, and we can’t imagine our lives without him. He’s truly everyone’s baby, and our home feels empty without his presence. The emergency vet bills, dental care for his wounded tooth, possible extraction of the remaining canine root, stitching of his gums, medication, and aftercare are more than we can manage on our own. We’re reaching out for help so we can give Dante the best chance to recover and come home to us.
