As you may or may not know, Dan was diagnosed with a grade 4 Glioblastoma in August of this year.

Everyone has been asking what they can do to help Dan and his family through this difficult time.

We have started this GoFundMe page to help cover the overwhelming costs associated with this medical crisis.

The funds will help with medical bills, travel, lodging, and essential living expenses so his family can focus on his healing.

Dan is a beloved father, husband, son, and brother who has served 20 years in the Marine Corps and is now on medical leave from the Mason City Police Dept.

Dan has been struggling with aphasia and seizures ever since his surgery to remove the brain tumor. The doctors are currently working to get his seizures under control so he can start radiation and chemo on Tuesday, 9/16/25.
