My name is Danny, and I’m currently undergoing treatment for leukemia. This diagnosis has changed every part of my life, especially my ability to work full-time and provide for my two children. Most days, I’m exhausted and struggle to stay awake, and I now rely on crutches to get around. The fatigue and physical limitations have made it nearly impossible to keep up with daily responsibilities and the needs of my family.

My children are 9 and 10 years old. My 9-year-old is autistic and needs constant attention and care, while my 10-year-old just started at a new school. The combination of medical treatments, reduced income, and extra care for my kids has made it very difficult to keep up with rent, utilities, groceries, and other basic expenses.

I had a previous GoFundMe that helped tremendously while I was in the hospital, but those funds only covered a few months. Now, working part-time, I’m doing everything I can to make ends meet, but I’ve hit a roadblock.
