Hi everyone,
My name is Daniel, and I’m reaching out for help as I face some unexpected and serious medical challenges.
I recently found out that I need CT Scans and surgery on both of my ears to remove cholesteatomas—abnormal growths that can cause hearing loss and other complications. I had this same surgery once before, back in 2014, but unfortunately the problem has returned and gotten worse. This time, they also need to do a biopsy to make sure the growths aren’t cancerous.
On top of that, I’ve been struggling with severe sleep issues. After doing an at-home sleep study, I learned that I have central sleep apnea, which means my brain isn’t sending the right signals for me to breathe while I sleep. I’m waking up about every minute throughout the night, and it’s leaving me completely exhausted. Doctors now need to confirm the severity with an in-lab sleep study, run CAT scans and possible MRIs on the brain/brainstem, and neurological tests to find out what’s causing it and how to treat it properly.
Between the ear surgeries, biopsies, imaging, and testing, my medical bills are expected to reach around $5,000 or more. Unfortunately, I can’t afford all of this on my own right now.
I’ve been doing my best to stay strong and keep a positive attitude, but the combination of constant fatigue, hearing problems, and stress over medical costs has really taken a toll on me. I’m asking for help to cover the upcoming medical procedures, travel, and recovery expenses.
Any amount you’re able to contribute would make a huge difference, and even if you can’t donate, sharing this page would mean the world to me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting me during this difficult time. Your kindness truly gives me hope.
