Hi, my name is Josiah. I'm creating this fundraiser in the hope of supporting my brother, Danny, as he faces some incredibly difficult times.

In early June, Danny suffered a fall that shattered his foot. Since then, he has undergone a $70,000 surgery and is currently unable to walk, drive, or work as he endures a slow and painful healing process. He’s been told he can’t put any pressure on his foot for six months and won’t even be able to start physical therapy for at least another month.

Unfortunately, Danny has exhausted all traditional avenues of assistance, including unemployment benefits and emergency Medicaid, only to find that he either doesn’t qualify or the help offered is insufficient. This has led us to seek help here.

With his savings depleted and the inability to work, Danny desperately needs your support to keep up with his bills until he can get back on his feet—literally—and return to work.
