Danny has been part of my family for 13 years. He’s one of four cats I care for, and he truly means the world to me.
On April 25th, Danny suddenly became very sick. X-rays revealed a thickened, abnormal section of his small intestine, and the emergency veterinarian was highly concerned about a possible intestinal mass or another life-threatening condition. Surgery was the only way to save his life, and it had to happen immediately.
Danny’s surgery and emergency care have already cost nearly $10,000, and additional medical expenses are expected as he continues to recover. I placed the charges on credit cards because I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to him.
Danny’s story started years ago when his mother brought him and his brothers to my door as kittens, looking for food and safety. I trapped, neutered, and cared for them all, eventually adopting their mother, Peach, when no one else would. Danny was the wildest of the group—but also the sweetest—and he has been my companion ever since.
Right now, Danny is recovering, and I am hopeful for his continued healing.
Any support—whether through a donation or by sharing this page—would mean more than words can express. Thank you for helping Danny get the care he needs.
