On August 9th, 2025 around 6pm, my brother Danny’s life changed in an instant. While riding his smaller CC motorcycle on the expressway in Ohio, he was cut off by another driver. With no time to react, he crashed into the median.
The accident left him with devastating injuries, his head split open, a broken hand, and a severed leg that, thankfully, surgeons were able to reattach. He was airlifted by emergency helicopter to the nearest hospital, but due to the severity of his injuries, he had to be transferred to Cleveland Clinic – Akron General. There, the incredible trauma team worked tirelessly to save not just his life, but his leg.
Danny is only 25 years old. He’s a hardworking, family-oriented young man with a one-of-a-kind sense of humor that lights up every room. He’s the kind of person who puts everyone else first, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.
His recovery will be long, painful, and expensive. Between the surgeries, rehabilitation, and time off work, the financial burden is overwhelming. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward his medical expenses, recovery care, and helping him get back on his feet — literally and figuratively.

El 9 de agosto de 2025, alrededor de las 6 p. m., la vida de mi hermano Danny cambió en un instante. Mientras conducía su motocicleta CC más pequeña en la autopista en Ohio, fue cortado por otro conductor. Sin tiempo para reaccionar, se estrelló contra la mediana.
El accidente lo dejó con lesiones devastadoras, su cabeza abierta, una mano rota y una pierna cortada que, afortunadamente, los cirujanos pudieron volver a colocar. Fue trasladado en helicóptero de emergencia al hospital más cercano, pero debido a la gravedad de sus lesiones, tuvo que ser trasladado a la Clínica Cleveland - Akron General. Allí, el increíble equipo de trauma trabajó incansablemente para salvar no solo su vida, sino también su pierna.
Danny solo tiene 25 años. Es un joven trabajador y orientado a la familia con un sentido del humor único que ilumina cada habitación. Él es el tipo de persona que pone a todos los demás en primer lugar, y ahora es nuestro turno de estar ahí para él.
Su recuperación será larga, dolorosa y costosa. Entre las cirugías, la rehabilitación y el tiempo libre del trabajo, la carga financiera es abrumadora.
