Help Danny Ray Recover from Hit and Run Accident

Hello My name is Maggie and I’m try to help my Big brother Danny Ray Recovery from being hit by a car while crossing the street in Portland, Oregon on Monday night October, 18, 2021. It was a hit and Run Accident that left my brother (a pedestrian) in critical condition. The police are still looking for the driver that hit him. At the time of the Accident my big brother was experiencing some depression and had been dealing with some feelings of hopelessness. My mother Debra and I had just went and picked him up from Los Angeles, California so he could be with his immediate family through his times of trouble. He was going to stay with his older sister Renee and her husband Pastor Mark at the Victory Outreach Christian Men’s home but this accident prevented him from returning on Wednesday October 20th. The reason he went to California was for our little cousins funeral but he ended up staying a lil longer to visit family when the Covid Pandemic hit, which ultimately got him stuck in California.Danny Ray has always held great union jobs but since he got stuck in Los Angeles, CA, he became unemployed. Being unemployed and trying to make it in a tough city such as LA added to his feelings of depression. Since he wasn’t employed at the time of the Accident he didn’t have any health insurance and Now he has thousands in medical bills and has no way to pay for them or his recovery. My brother has always been a law abiding citizen and a hard working man. He has always supported him self but may no longer be able to for awhile due to how severe his injuries are from the hit and run accident. He lost one of his legs and the other one was shattered and now has pins in it and still has surgeries to go through. He is severely hurt and had to be put on a breathing ventilator as well as a feeding tube. My big brother just needs some help through this tough time in his life. He is only 38 years old and has many years ahead of him, he is strong so we know he will pull through this but would have a easier recovery if we could get him some financial to help ease his pain and suffering. If you can’t help financially, your prayers for my brother will help as well.
