Danny recently found himself in the ER because he was experiencing some relentless pain and had finally had enough. He was diagnosed with pancreatitis along with pneumonia and sepsis. In order to get his pain under control and allow for his body to heal, Danny was intubated and heavily sedated. The ventilator was taken out a few days later, but Danny remained dependent on supplemental oxygen.

After an MRI, it was discovered that he has a fusion between C4-C7 that was causing compression on his spinal cord. We are told that surgery will not change the outcome. At this time, he is being kept comfortable, finally getting some relief from the pain he has been in for so long.

I wanted to start this to help my mom with the medical expenses that have accrued during his week stay in ICU and for whatever else is in store in the coming days.
