Help Danny Overcome Brain Tumor Surgery

Donation protected
On Saturday, July 13th, my boyfriend Danny received life-changing news in the ER. What started as what we thought were just migraines quickly spiraled into something far more serious. After days of intense headaches, nausea, and a deep gut feeling that something wasn’t right, I rushed him to the emergency room. That morning, doctors discovered a mass near his pituitary gland, dangerously close to his optic nerves.

He was diagnosed with a pituitary adenoma, a benign tumor in his brain that’s now affecting his vision and overall well-being. It explained everything, the pressure, the pain, but nothing could’ve prepared us for the road ahead.

Danny is just 30 years old. He’s full of life, healthy, kind, and someone who always shows up for the people he loves. But this time, he needs our help.

He doesn’t have insurance, and as we were navigating scans, labs, and consultations, every step felt like a race against time. But by the grace of God, and after days of searching and advocating, we finally found an incredible neurosurgical team at the University of Miami who understood the urgency. Although the tumor is benign, its location is critical and it has to come out, as soon as possible.

Danny is scheduled for brain surgery. We are beyond thankful that he’s getting the care he needs, but unfortunately, his temporary insurance won’t cover the surgery. We are now navigating significant medical costs including surgery, imaging, recovery, and follow-ups, and we’re humbly asking for support to help lighten the financial weight during this time.

We’re sharing this because we believe in the power of community. Friends, family, and even strangers can make a difference. Whether through a contribution or simply sharing this page, you are part of Danny’s healing journey.

He just wants to get back to the life he loves...pain-free, full of energy, and with a new sense of gratitude. Right now, we’re focused on getting him through surgery safely and giving him the peace of mind to heal without the stress of medical debt.

Thank you for reading our story, for your prayers, and for your generosity. It means the world to us.

With love and deep gratitude,

Charisma, Danny, and our families
