Dear friends and community,

Jessica is raising support for a dear friend, Danny Means, after a tragic house fire on Sunday destroyed Danny’s home and changed everything in an instant. Along with losing his home and personal belongings, Danny also lost many of the kitties in his care. Danny has spent years caring for dozens of cats with a soft heart and deep kindness, always giving them safety and love. At the time of this posting, 25 kitties have been recovered, but many of them now need veterinary care for minor injuries, smoke inhalation, and shock. This loss has been heartbreaking, and the road ahead will be incredibly difficult for Danny and the surviving cats.

All donations will go toward the care Danny and the recovered kitties need most right now. Support will help cover vet bills, cat food, carriers, cat beds, litter boxes, and other basic supplies for the cats who made it out. Donations will also help Danny replace personal necessities and begin rebuilding what was destroyed in the fire. Please consider helping Danny Means during this painful time. Every act of kindness matters, and no amount is too small. Thank you so much to everyone who is able to donate, share, and keep Danny and these kitties in your thoughts.
