Danny, my godson, has always been a source of warmth and joy in our family. Born with a heart defect, Danny has faced health challenges throughout life, but has always met them with courage and a smile. Now, at 41, Danny is on palliative care, and our family is doing everything we can to make this time as meaningful and comfortable as possible.

One of Danny’s biggest wishes is to have more freedom to get around and enjoy special moments with loved ones. We are hoping to raise enough funds to purchase an electric scooter for Danny, which would make outings to places like the zoo possible again. We’d also love to give Danny some spending money for food, snacks, and—if the doctors give the green light—a trip to Frankenmuth, Michigan. Bronner’s Christmas Wonderland is Danny’s happy place, and it would mean the world for Danny to share that experience with his son, Al, who doesn’t remember visiting as a baby.
